Food Innovation Network Europe (FINE) is a network of European food regions joining forces to encourage innovation and cooperation to make Europe more competitive in world food markets. FINE develops strategies to bring in more investment in Research and Technological Development (RTD). The network is aimed at encouraging European, national and regional policies to promote increased investment in R&D and innovation in the food sector leading to a more competitive European food industry. The FINE network develops opportunities for interregional cooperation between food regions in Europe. FINE binds stakeholders from companies, research institutes, policy makers and several regional networks.

Agri food clusters taking part in FINE include:

   • Flanders (Belgium),
   • Rogaland (Norway),
   • Wielkopolska (Poland),
   • Emilia-Romagna (Italy),
   • Castilla y León (Spain),
   • Öresund (Denmark and Sweden).
